Tibetan style entrance (Xiàhé, China - 11/05)

We were planning to visit the so politically tense region of Tibet. For
that, we needed a permit and a mandatory expensive organised tour.
Unfortunately (later in time, we realised fortunately), the permit were
refused because of bad happenings (for China) in Tibet. Then, we organised
ourselves a little plan B. According to the guide book, our first
destination is Xiahe, the nearest touristy Tibetan village. However, We
heard about checkpoints that blocks tourist around this region. We tried it
anyway, but we were scared all the bus trip, especially when policemen were
coming in bus to look and go (we did not know the reason at the end)...

Finally, after a long time, we rediscover the pleasure of coldness...
