2Days horse trek in Tibetan plateau: a pre-taste of Mongolia? (Langmusi, China - 13-14/05)

Lucky us our trip starts with rain but we have good equipment:
Lunch and drying break in a real yak hair tent:
Now we have snow!!
It is better here, but still our toes are freezing:
We arrived home just at the beggining of a snow storm, lucky!!!
The night is falling, we gather and tide all the yak next to the tent:
Preparing the noodles for the soup:
With our host for tonight:
Dry yak shit on one corner of the tent. It is used as fuel for the cooker/heater.
Next early morning, the sun is here, youhou!!!
Gathering the yak shit for the heater:
The babies are freed in order to prepare the mother for milking (it seems you cannot milk the yak if the baby did not drink first):
The princess and her kingdom:
Here we go again:
Difficult climb up for our guide this morning:
The snow dried out already!!
The horses are thirsty for the medicinal source (full of iron):
You can see the red color of iron in the water:
Basketball field are definitely everywhere:
Lunch break at the father's place of our guide:
