Endless Day of Travel (on the way to Bandung, Java, Indonesia - 13/02)

We leave the hotel in the morning and get 2 buses to reach Purwokerto. From then, everything all right.
Once arrived in Purwokerto, it all started:
        -According to the Lonely Planet guide, the train station is not too long from the bus terminal...let's walk then...Well, after two hours, we finally got there...

        -All sweaty, we ask for our ticket to go to the next city, Kroya, where we can have the 5 hours train to Banbung. It is only a 30 min trip but we have to pay the same price as for the full 12 hours trip from Jakarta to Surabaya... we have to think...
All decided to get the ticket (don't want to go back to the bus terminal), there is no seat available, we have to stand!!! we had the best deal ever: 30min standing for the same price as 12 hours seating...
        -We arrive late in Kroya, it is dark, and we think about looking for a hotel and take our train in the next morning... the annoying ''Hello Mister'' are falling from everywhere, as usual, and lucky day, there is only two hotels and they are full...
It is 19:50, we buy some water and cookies as rescue food, we think and decide to get a night train to Bandung tonight but the ticket office usually closes at 20:00.

        -We can only get expensive tickets in the train which are not next to each other.
But still we are lucky to have them, we were thinking of sleeping in the train station with the homeless...
